About the event
Join us for a session focused on asserting personal autonomy and decision-making rights, especially in the context of medical assistance in dying (MAiD). Learn strategies to express and defend your choices with confidence while respecting differing perspectives.
Participants will engage in a nature reflection activity to connect with their thoughts and feelings about end-of-life care and decision-making. Here's how the activity will unfold:
Close your eyes and imagine yourself in a peaceful natural setting, such as a forest, beach, or mountainside.
Envision the sights, sounds, smells, and sensations of this virtual nature experience.
Reflect on how this virtual nature experience makes you feel and what thoughts or emotions it evokes in relation to the topic of medical assistance in dying.
